Northstar Motel’s Disability Units offer all of the modern features of our Superior Units , but with wheelchair accessible bathrooms and lower benches in the kitchen.
Our lavishly furnished rooms feature super king sized beds, with elegant suede-feel comforters and stylish decorative cushions. Large, double-glazed windows are adorned with thick curtains to keep out the cold and flowing organza net curtains for your privacy. In each of our warm units, the lounge/bedroom area is open plan, with a contemporary room divider, separating the areas.

These spacious ground floor rooms are perfect for people with disabilities, those in wheelchairs and the elderly.
Each Disability Unit has a full kitchen, with lower benches for your convenience. The open plan dining room features a dining table and chairs. The kitchen offers an oven and ceramic stovetop with range-hood, a microwave, a toaster, an electric jug and a small fridge with freezer box. We also provide pots, pans, glasses, mugs and utensils. Each room comes with complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk and plunge pots with plunger coffee.
Our large modern wheelchair accessible bathrooms feature a large shower with massaging shower head with a toilet and bench in the same room. The bathroom also includes a vanity and a wardrobe in a separate room. Other luxuries of your Oamaru accommodation include a full length mirror, heated towel rail, bathroom heater, hair dryer and complimentary soap and shampoo. Our bathrooms have great lighting and ample space to get changed, along with all bathroom linen provided.
